Located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, V Resorts Mumukshu Pauri offers great views of the snowcapped Himalayas. From the serene premises of the resort, watch the evening turn to dusk as a beautiful golden sun disappears into the mountains. The resort is also a launchpad to discover the rich cultural heritage of Pauri, which is dotted with a number of old temples.

Local Tour

Whether you're religiously inclined or not, Pauri's old temples are worth visiting. The Laxman temple and Kandoliya temple are among the more important temples, but there is also a series of fascinating smaller shrines.

There are 14 rooms, spread across the ground and first floors. Most rooms have a sit-out area and open up to spectacular views of the mountains and sunsets.

There's a full-fledged restaurant, Spice Walk, within the premises of the property.

The reception area doubles up as an activity zone, which has board and other indoor games.

Focusing on promoting 100% organic and local produce, Spice Walk (our signature restaurant) at V Resorts Mumukshu offers you with a chance to savour some amazing Garhwali dishes like Urad pakora, kaddu ki bhujji and poori in addition to the well known Indian food. Don’t forget to try the most famous Garhwali chutney called bhaang-jeera chutney. Sounds weird but the most commonly used ingredient of the local dishes in Garhwal are hash seeds (Bhaang).

V Resorts Mumukshu Pauri organises village lunches for guests where they get a chance to savour local cuisine in a rural household. The revenue which we earn by hosting such meals is shared with the villagers.

Pauri’s rich architectural and cultural heritage is often overlooked. Dotted with some of the oldest temples in the country and home to the world’s only Laxman temple, Pauri celebrates as many as 17 different festivals in a year. It is the perfect place to take in some breathtaking views of the mighty Himalayas, soak in the multi-hued traditions and customs of the local communities and enjoy some Garhwali cuisine.
