Local Tour

The Pachdar village, 12 km away from Mahua Vann, possesses a rich legacy and tradition of pottery, with a majority of the residents occupied in this trade. Take out a couple of hours in your itinerary to make a visit here, and watch consummate potters in action. Learn about this now endangered craft, buy some freshly-made pottery goods and if interested, undergo a workshop and learn to make mud goods of your own. On your way back to the resort, enjoy the sunset from the sunset point at the serene Kohka lake.



The stay here is one you'll never forget. There are sixteen cottages and four suites decked-out with all the modern amenities, and some specialities unique to each cottage. For example, four of these cottages have machan style roof-top gazebos and some of them have open-air shower air in addition to the traditional bathrooms. All the cottages have scenic sit-out areas, some of whom look out on one of the weather streams that flow through the resort, or on the large water body present on the resort.


The restaurant and dining at V Resorts Mahua Vann are a big hit with the guests. Our local chefs are adept at churning up multi-cuisine spreads customised to the diners' preferences. But their real skill lies in cooking delectable local delicacies, reminiscent of the region in their variety and flavour. Behind the resort's reception area near the gate, is a hall that serves as the resort's library and lounge area. Equipped with installations and souvenirs that depict the local culture, the library is stocked with good fiction and non-fiction titles which you can spend time reading in the comfy couches here. One corner is taken up by a television which you can watch if you're idle, tough that's not likely to be the case.
