• Trekking in Sattal

Sattal is paradox of sorts, it’s a great place to unwind, but also, it’s a great place to rough it out. The seven lakes, surrounding rhododendron and oak forest, white mountains, make it a meditative trekker’s paradise. You can trek and trek, without anyone to bother you. Based on each traveler’s preference, Sattal has clearly etched-out trails, easy, moderate and challenging

Challenging Trek: This one starts from V Resorts Sattal, and although it is just a 2 km expedition, its steep incline, almost 30 degrees and rocky path, make it one of the more tough treks. The scenic pine and deodar trees offer respite

Normal Trek: A 6 Km trek (to and fro) takes you to Surya Gaon, a little village. Cutting through pine and oak forests, a quaint temple, undiscovered lake, the trek is a chance to discover the region around

Easy Trek: Two easy and leisurely treks give travelers’ a chance to laze around, explore the place alongside getting their bit of adventure. A 4.5 Km trek (to and fro) along the Sattal lake is a combination of paved roads and forest cover. Another 4 km trek (to and fro) is to Subhash Dhara, a waterfall deep into the forest. It’s ideal for birding.

Get your groove back at V Resorts, enjoy the calm cup of tea in its terrace gardens, get your appetite of the snow-clad peaks, and you are ready to go again.
