Leave for Sattal from your pre-designated pick-up point, early in the morning. Given the distance between the two destinations, you will arrive at your resort by afternoon.
After checking in, spend the rest of the day at leisure or you can head out for a nature walk. The view of the hills below and the Sattal Lake at a distance are enough to keep you back at the resort and do nothing. The entire vista should be enjoyed with a hot cup or tea (or your choice of drink).
Have your dinner at the resort and go to sleep after a session of star-gazing.
Today, after breakfast one may go for full day sightseeing or trekking/bird watching (extra charges applied). An outdoor meal within the premises of the resort is perfect for evening.
Start your exploration from the Sattal Lake. If you are game for it, there are various trekking trails around the lake. We suggest you don't exert yourself as some parts of the trekking trail are steep. However, the physical exertion is worth it as you get to pass through beautiful villages, apple plantations and farms as well.
After what may have been an exhausting yet rewarding day, head back to the resort and indulge in a lavish fare consisting of local cuisines.
Wake up to a warm and sumptuous breakfast. Afterwards, proceed for your next destination on the itinerary - Bhimtal.
Less than an hour away from Nainital and just half an hour away from Sattal, Bhimtal boasts of scenic mountains and valleys views. Soak in mountain views as you walk through its deodar forests, home to a wide variety of birds. Follow it up with a hearty meal of saag, roti, and ghee: the sarson ka saag (mustard greens) best had in the homes of local villagers. If you have time you can also visit the lake nearby and even go to Butterfly Museum as well.
Return to the resort and have your dinner.
Have your breakfast at the resort. Check out from the resort/hotel before 11 AM and leave for Delhi.
