If Himachal Pradesh is known as the Apple Capital of India, Narkanda is one of the prime areas for its cultivation. The Stokes Farm, located in Thanedar, 14 kms from Narkanda is home to Stokes Farm, that was started in 1916 by Samuel ‘Satyanand’ Stokes, an American who came to India with the initial intention of working with leprosy patients. Today, this farm provides livelihood to several locals, especially women. You can also find apple wines and jams that are manufactured in the region and frankly, a better setting to enjoy these delicacies would be hard to find.

Stop At Tannu Jubbar Lake
