And Indian Railways on this occasion has a little gift for the travelers in the form of Holi special trains that will be running to ensure the easy and convenient traveling for passengers.

Northern Railways (part of Indian Railways) has decided to introduce Holi special trains that will be running in order to manage the additional rush and ensure smooth functioning of trains during the festival of Holi. The tickets for these special trains can be booked by the passengers from the official website of IRCTC as well, informed the railways.

The special trains that have been announced by Indian Railways as of now include, the New Delhi to Barauni (Bihar) train that will run between 12 March- 22 March; the Nizamuddin to Pune train that will run between 12 – 26 March, Anand Vihar to Patna train that will run between 13-20 March, Anand Vihar to Kamakhya train that will run between 13-20 March, the Chandigarh to Gorakhpur train that will run between 14-21 March, the Lucknow to Kolkata train that will run between 11-25 March, the Firozpur Cantt-Katihar junction that will run between 16- March 23.
