Taking a trip to Rohtang is the ultimate and almost essential attraction of the itinerary. Located at a distance of 51km from the main town, Rohtang Pass can be reached only by road. The way up the hills is a treat to the eyes. As the vehicle climbs higher on the Manali- Keylong Road, the beauty of the landscape around will leave you wanting more. Manali in Himachal Pradesh is every tourist’s favorite but on the other side of the Manalsu River is the original part of the hill station, the Old Manali. With the sweet scent of an old world charm, interspersed with guest houses and an increasing presence of tourism, Old Manali is a good way to take a peek into the Manali that was. Sister town to Manali, Kullu is a beautiful hill station. This place is known for its adventure activities along with sacred temples and shrines. A trip to Kullu is almost synonymous to a visit to Manali. From some of the festive temples, such as the Raghunath temple, to ancient temples with legends around them, such as the Bijli Mahadev Temple, the temples in Kullu are both significant centers of religion and spirituality. They are located amongst some of the best valleys and hills in the town. Another popular attraction here is the Pandoh Dam, which offers quite a spectacular view of it, visitors. Other than this, one can enjoy some activities in Kullu like trekking, river rafting, mountaineering and even trout fishing.
