But the ride into the Pench National Park is not the only reason to visit the splendid V Resorts Kohka, an eco-friendly destination that combines high comfort with true elegance in one of central India's most sought-after wildlife zones. We've packed a lot more for you to do even when you're not on a safari. We've tied up with a local village school at Kokha and have a long-term commitment to partner with children and teachers in the area. A school visit is a great way to experience first hand the educational challenges and opportunities in this rural belt, and get inspired. We urge every guest to donate something – it could be something as simple as a pencil box – to the school. It goes directly to the wonderful kids studying there.

It all starts with procuring fresh, locally grown grain, pulses and vegetables. Then, a fair bit of research goes into rediscovering traditional dishes indigenous to the local communities, especially the tribal culture. Finally, our chefs add dollops of expertise to create a menu that is wholesome, healthy and enticing.
V Resorts Kohka is very proud of the fact that it works closely with teachers and students in the local village school and has, in fact, provided seven teachers to the school. Our reach-out programmes help about 600 schoolkids. Besides, the resort procures naturally made cosmetic products from nearby areas, and we like to delight our guests with our menu developed from locally or organically grown food.

Kohka is easily one of the better places I've stayed at, especially in forested regions. The staff is very polite and helpful, and Saurabh, the owner, is an exceedingly gracious and helpful host. Besides, the camp is located close to the main Turiya gate of Pench National Park, meaning your morning safaris are hassle free. We booked our airport transfers...
