Of course, you can get lucky and sighting chances are better from April to June. Nevertheless there are many beasts in this jungle, and locals will tell you that the spirit of Jim Corbett – who loved the wild and wrote the iconic book 'The Man-Eaters of Kumaon' – hovers around too!
