Embark on week-long exploration of Himachal Pradesh and Amritsar. Start your journey to the land of Himalayas with a two night stay at Shimla. Visit the famous attractions of this place or head to Kufri. Shop at the Mall Road or just sit back at the resort and enjoy a laid-back vacation at the resort/hotel with your loved one.

After spending two day in solitude in Shimla, leave for Manali. One of the most popular destinations for travelling with friends, family or even solo, Manali has everything from shopping streets to temples and the Rohtang Pass a few km away. Soak in the beauty of the hills here or head to the Snow Point during winters if you love snow-clad mountains.

After three days in Manali, leave for Dharamshala. Often underestimated, this small yet beautiful hill station offers stunning views of the Kangra Valley. Go 9 km up and you will find yourself surrounded by pine and deodar trees in Mcleodganj - famous as Dalai Lama’s Residence and also for Triund Trek.

End your sojourn to Himachal with a one night stay in Amritsar. Do visit the Golden Temple. It is even more spectacular during night.

Suggested Itinerary

We will leave for Shimla early in the morning. A pick-up point will be intimated to you, a week or so before the trip starts. Given the distance between the two places, you will arrive at your designated resort/hotel by late afternoon.

Check in your resort and unwind from the long journey. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. At night, have your dinner at the resort. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Have your breakfast at the resort. Afterwards, gear up for a full-day exploration of Shimla and Kufri.

Start from the Indian Institude of Advanced Studies. Built in the colonial architectural style, this was once the summer retreat palace of president of India. Today, a walk through the institute will enlighten you on the topic of Modern Indian history.

However, if your heart lies in the matter of history and you want to have a glimpse in the colonial era, the Shimla State Museum should be on your itinerary for the day. Built in the colonial architecture style, the lush green pastures surrounding the museum make it a picturesque building. Moreover, the rare collection of artefacts, paintings and other such things are bound to educate you about our history and past.

In the evening, head to the Mall Road which is rightly considered a haven for all the shopaholics. From woollen clothes to rare handicrafts, there are plenty of things you can forage for. The addition of various cafes and stalls make it a must-visit place for foodies as well. Take a walk through the road in the evening or just sit on the benches and soak in the views of the hills.

Head back to the resort and have a sumptuous dinner.

Leave for Manali after breakfast. Enjoy a drive past Pandoh Dam and Kullu Valley. Reach Manali in the evening and check in to your resort. Unwind from the long journey. You can spend the rest of the day at leisure. If you do feel like heading out, we suggest you check in the famous attractions close to the resort/hotel.

Have a sumptuous dinner at night. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of Manali. Visit Vashishtha Kund, Hidimba Temple, Club House and Tibetan monasteries. Spend the rest of the day unwinding at the resort or exploring the Himachal city, its beautiful markets and areas nearby. When back at the resort, have a sumptuous meal and go to sleep after a session of star gazing.

Have a warm breakfast and leave for Snow point or the Rohtang Pass. Spend the day at leisure enjoying the scenic beauty of Himachal. After a memorable experience, return to your resort for an overnight stay.

(Note: Rohtang sightseeing will be on a direct payment basis and will depend on the availability of permit.)

In the morning, after breakfast, proceed for Dharamsala. Check in to the resort and spend the rest of the day unwinding from the travel fatigue.

In the morning after breakfast, go on a sightseeing trip around Dharamsala. Start your tour of this city with the Kangra Fort. A dilapidated yet beautiful fort, this one is ideal for spending a couple of hours.

Dharamshala also has a cricket stadium which is renowned for being built on the highest ground. You can visit this stadium as well.

Later in the day, visit Mcleodganj. A treat for nature enthusiasts, this is famous for the Dalai Lama Temple, a beautiful church, its lakes and waterfalls. The Bhagsunaag waterfall is also the starting point of the Triund trek.

Return to the resort by sunset and spend the rest of the night gazing at the stars. Have your dinner and call it a night.

In the morning after breakfast, leave for Amritsar. Check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, visit the magnificent Golden Temple. Have the langar here if you wish to or head out and explore the Hall Bazaar nearby. The Jallianwala Bagh is also located close to the Golden Temple. This place has the bullet marks from the massacre of 1919. The museum inside the complex has ashes of some of the freedom fighters in an urn. There are other historical artefacts and pieces of information as well.

Return to the resort after a full-day exploration. Have your dinner and call it a night.

Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast. Afterwards, prepare to check out from the resort and leave for Delhi with beautiful memories of the trip.
