As part of our community outreach programmes, a special focus is on kids and their education. Since V Resorts properties are invariably located in rural and semi-rural areas, educational opportunities for local residents are often limited. We do our bit to make a difference wherever we can. V Resorts firmly believes that children are our future – and contributing to their development gives us great joy.
At V Resorts Rajaji National Park, we've tied up with an ashram which provides shelter to children of leprosy patients. Our Banni Khera Farm Resort at Rohtak arranges a trip to a nearby ashram, where traditional Hindu systems of learning are followed. Guests can interact with kids at the ashram.
V Resorts Kohka Pench, one of our beautiful properties in Madhya Pradesh, is very proud of the fact that it works closely with teachers and students in the local village school and has, in fact, provided seven teachers to the school. Guests are encouraged to get at least one gift for a child during the school visit.
At V Resorts Camp Panna, the local area's development is an important part of the resort's philosophy. The resort was, in fact, built with the help of local villagers. There are tie-ups with the panchayat and the resort conducts cleanliness drives involving schoolchildren. Guests are also encouraged to visit schools, interact with children, give out books and pencils, as well as participate in discussions about safeguarding the environment and nearby forest reserve.
